New Orleans and the Sugar Bowl

Richard went to New Orleans and to the Sugar Bowl on New Years Day. The trip was supposed to include me and the rest of my family, but the airlines aren't stupid and the tickets to fly there were outrageous once the announcement came that Utah would be going. Richard ended up going with his mom and dad, and eventually my dad and brother found a way to get there by way of Las Vegas. He had a great time. It was quite a different city and he says that Las Vegas it like Salt Lake if you compare it to New Orleans. He had great food, saw a plantation, went to a cemetary that the graves are all above ground, and saw numerous people on the streets who needed more clothing on. We really missed him, but we had great time here with my mom. She came and stayed with me and the girls. My sister and her husband came over to watch the game and my mom treated us to sushi. I think my mom was relieved to only have four of us eating sushi. The three boys who were gone could consume more than all of us could. WE had a great time and really enjoyed the game. GO UTES!!! Thank you mom for keeping us company and keeping me sane. I love and I know the girls love you too!!
