Lookin' for Trouble

Arcadia is always looking for trouble. It is not uncommon to find her in my makeup or nailpolish, or trying to "work" as she would say. Here are just a couple of those moments.
She is talking on her "banana phone" to Uncle Zach. Thanks to the Disney Channel for that! Last time she stole a banana off of the counter to do this she squished the banana out and ate it!
She really likes to get in trouble in the bath tub. I cannot remember how many full bottles of shampoo she has emptied into her tub. This time she was "working" to clean Mommy's blinds she said.Richard caught her in Mekensy's swing while she was watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She even had her sweet tarts in the tray!

Happy Valentines Day!!

Arcadia really enjoyed her Valentines Day! This is the first time she has really understood what it is all about. We started out our Valentines celebration by my Mom and Dad watching the girls so we could go out. It was kind of a last minute thing on Friday night so we headed off to PF Chang's and got there only to find out we should have made reservations. It was a 2 hour wait so we drove over to Gateway, found a spot to park and went in search of something to eat. Long story short we ended up at PeiWei, not far from our house and after the 2 1/2 hours of finding somewhere to eat a movie was kind of out of the question so we went to Reams to rent a movie. Arcadia enjoyed helping my mom clean her carpets while we were out. She got Madagascar 2 from my Mom and Dad and loves it. On Valentines Day I got up and made pink pancakes, pink scrambled eggs, sausage, and pink milk. Arcadia enjoyed "helping" me. She got bubbles for her bathtub and a Snow White figurine that Mommy and Daddy continually undress and dress again. We had a great Valentines Day and hope you all did too! We love you all! Oh, and I forgot the best thing of all. Richard got me a hotel room for myself on Sunday night. It was so nice to have a quiet night to myself. It really doesn't happen much around here with two kids. It was some much needed me time!! Thanks for watching the girls Rich, I love you!!

Movies, movies, and more movies

Arcadia loves watching movies. Unfortunately it seems to be the same 3 movies and they are driving me crazy. I must admit I like them the first 2 or 3 times but after I can't seem to get the songs to leave my head. These are her favorites for the moment.
Does anyone remember this one? Thanks to my mom Arcadia now begs to watch this. Too bad it is at my Mom's. Today she even asked to have her hair done like Pipi. I only went for the pigtails. No braids with a hanger in them!

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is being watched as I am writing this. We watch this more than I can even count. I must admit it is really funny and Johnny Depp is hilarious.
Last but not least we have Mama Mia. Yes, she loves this movies. She sings the songs, she dances, and she will even make the same facial expressions they make when they are singing.

Matching Outfits- Part Two!

I know I have already said this, but I love being able to dress the girls in the same, or close to the same, outfits. It is really fun having two girls, at least for now. Talk to me when they are teenagers and I will probably feel differently! Once again my mom and dad bought these outfits for the girls so I thought they might like a picture of them!

Meeska Mouska Mickey Mouse

I'm pretty sure I didn't spell any of that correctly but oh well. Arcadia has been a little difficult lately so we decided it was time for a day out with Mom and Dad. We decided to take her to see Playhouse Disney on Stage. After a week or so of trying to decide if it would be worth it I found a good deal on tickets so we decided to take her. She was so excited and it was a great way to make her do things through out the week. I was really sad when Christmas was over because I couldn't use the "Santa won't come if you don't listen to Mommy." We took Mekensy to my parents house (thanks mom and dad) and off we went with just Arcadia, Mommy and Daddy. I thought she would be so excited, but when we got in the car to head downtown Arcadia cried and said, "my Kensy, where my Kensy". It was really funny. We went to Wendy's and enjoyed a quick lunch then off to the show. Arcadia had a great time dancing, clapping, singing and yelling "meeska mouska, mickey mouse." Here are a couple of pictures. They didn't really turn out very well. I'm sure there is a way to take better pictures, but I don't know how to work this camera very well.
Before we left for the show!
All of the characters. There was Mickey Mouse Club House, Handy Manny, My Friends Tigger and Pooh, and the Little Einsteins.
Meeska mouska Mickeeeyy Mouse!
We had a great time and now she keeps asking when we are going to see Mickey again. Lucky for her my mom, sister and I are taking her to see Disney on Ice in March. It was good to have a little bit of quality time with her. We love her so much. She has had a little bit of a rough time because she doesn't get as much attention as she would like, but she is a good little girl.
